“Lucien Pellat-Finet” was established in 1994. The inaugural collection, named “Luxury streetwear,” featured ten pieces of 4-ply cashmere knitwear and a women’s collection in five colors, presented in New York. It quickly gained significant trust from buyers and acclaim. This success established its position as a luxury wear in America, and it was dubbed “King of Cashmere” by the press. By 2000, the brand’s distribution had expanded to 70 stores worldwide. Beginning in 2002, the brand announced collaborations with leading contemporary artists, starting with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024.
